Used to retrieve the String name of the advertiser.

Returns:

the name of the advertiser if available, or an empty String otherwise.

getIcon

public android.widget.ImageView getIcon()

Used to retrieve the thumbnail image for this advertisement. Usually used to construct a native ad experience.

Returns:

the thumbnail image for this advertisement, or null if no image is available.

getTitle

public java.lang.String getTitle()

Used to retrieve the String title of this advertisement.

Returns:

the title of this advertisement if available, or an empty String otherwise.

getDescription

public java.lang.String getDescription()

Used to retrieve the String description of this advertisement.

Returns:

the description of this advertisement if available, or an empty String otherwise.

isEngagementEnabled

public boolean isEngagementEnabled()

Used to retrieve whether or not the native ad has an engagement button to be used in your layout. If true, a button should be retrieved, styled, and added to the layout.

Returns:

whether or not an engagement button exists for this ad.

getEngagementButton

public AdColonyNativeAdView.EngagementButton getEngagementButton()

Used to retrieve the engagement button for the advertisement. The button is unstyled, though the click listener and text have already been set.

Returns:

the unstyled engagement button for this advertisement, or null if no engagement is enabled.

destroy

public boolean destroy()

Call this method when you have finished using this AdColonyAdView and have removed it from your layout. Breaks down the object, removes internal references, and allows for memory to be freed. The object should no longer be used after this call.

Returns:

whether or not the command was successful. Will return false if destroy() has already been called.

setVolume

public boolean setVolume(float volume)

Adjusts the volume of any media playback associated with this ad view.

Parameters:

volume - a float between 0.0 and 1.0 representing the volume level you wish to set.

Returns:

whether or not the command was successful. Will return false if an invalid volume is passed.

setMuted

public boolean setMuted(boolean muted)

Mutes the volume of any media playback associated with this ad view.

Parameters:

muted - whether or not the media playback should be muted.

getZoneID

public java.lang.String getZoneID()

Used to retrieve the zone identifier for the zone that this ad was requested from.

Returns:

the unique zone identifier tied to this ad.

pause

public boolean pause()

Used to manually pause the ad view, if applicable. This should only be used in special cases, as the view already auto pauses when appropriate. After a manual pause, the ad view will only resume with a manual call to resume().

resume

public boolean resume()

Used to manually resume the ad view, if applicable. This method will only ever have an effect if the ad view was previously paused manually with pause(). This should only be used in special cases, as the view already auto resumes when appropriate.
